About Rebecca

Rebecca Burack leads Bain's Global Private Equity practice.

Rebecca has 25 years of management consulting experience, advising leading private equity investors and alternative asset managers across the full investment cycle. She has supported hundreds of due diligence assignments as well as value creation plans post-acquisition, focusing on commercial excellence, growth strategy, sales excellence, pricing, distribution strategies and performance improvement. Rebecca also supports private equity investors with deal origination, fund raising, fund strategy, merger integration and exit planning.

She holds deep expertise in industrials and is a leader in our Infrastructure, Construction & Building Products sector within the global Advanced Manufacturing & Services practice. She advises private equity firms on market and company due diligence across a range of industrial products, and has worked with leading manufacturers and distributors in the building systems and controls, building materials and MRO sectors to develop growth strategies and full potential plans.

Rebecca is one of the lead authors of our annual Global Private Equity Report.

Prior to joining Bain in 1998, she worked for International Paper in manufacturing.

Rebecca earned her MBA from Harvard Business School and her BS in Operations Research and Industrial Engineering from Cornell University.
